My film Deux Champs (Two Fields) will screen at the Winnipeg Underground Film Festival in June, 2016.

The next Cellular Cinema screening is June 6, 2016!

My moving image installation Closer To My Father will be part of a group show at the Kunstverein Grafschaft Bentheim Gallery in Neuenhaus, Germany in the Spring of 2016.

My moving image installation Monument Time will be part of the Beijing Triennial in the Fall of 2016.

Funeral For Fun is currently screening at the Walker Art Center in the Best Buy video bay, and it is also being broadcast as part of the MNTV program on TPT – Twin Cities Public Television.

My film Deux Champs (Two Fields) screened at the Milwaukee Underground Film Festival on May 1st, 2016

Cellular Cinema hosted a number of screenings, a panel and a workshop surrounding the Minneapolis / St. Paul International Film Festival (MSPIFF) in April, 2016 – it was a great success!

Cellular Cinema toured its program ARBOREALITY to the Echo Park Film Center in Los Angeles in March, 2016, including my film Deux Champs (Two Fields).

Northern Exposure Film Series at the Trylon Microcinema will feature a full evening-length program of my work for two nights, December 28th and 29th, 2015. This will be the theatrical premiere of my film Timeline : 2012 with live musical accompaniment.

I won a Sage Award for Design, for my video and lighting design for Megan Mayer’s performance piece Soft Fences at the Red Eye Theater last fall. The awards ceremony was at the Cowles Center for Dance on October 13th, 2015.

My newest film, a short experimental documentary called Deux Champs (Two Fields) had its world premiere at Anthology Film Archives in New York on November 18th, 2015.

I created 16mm projections for a performance installation by John Fleischer as part of the show superusted at the Soap Factory in September 2015.

Cellular Cinema is going on the road in October, with a screening in Portland, featuring my film Deux Champs (Two Fields).

July, 2015 – the works and days of hands screened in the Altered Aesthetics Art House Film Festival at the Southern Theater in Minneapolis, along with an installation of my piece Monument Time, and I received a Featured Artist Award.

April 19, 2015, 11 AM – “Aberdeen” screened as part of the Minneapolis / St. Paul International Film Festival, at the St. Anthony Main Theater in Minneapolis.

April 11, 2015: opening reception for Underlined Action, the 2015 MFA Thesis Show at the University of Minnesota, will be in the Nash Gallery.

February 16th, 2015: Love Has Been Done to Death: MNXF invites EFF Portland to a shared night of film, video and performance at the Bryant Lake Bowl.

December 2014 – February, 2015: Monument Time was in the IMAGE / Transition show at the Weisman Art Museum, on the campus of the University of Minnesota.

December 5-7, 2014 – Soft Fences, a dance performance by choreographer Megan Mayer, featuring video elements by Kevin Obsatz, at the Red Eye Theater in Minneapolis.

October 1st – Cellular Cinema at the Bryant Lake Bowl – an evening of films made with film by Minnesota Artists.

September 12-19th: Closer to My Father, video installation at the Quarter Gallery at the Regis Center for Art, in the Blinking Fresh show.

September 12, 2014: Beyond the Loop at Play on Penn in North Minneapolis – at the corner of Lowry and Penn Avenue.

June 4 & 5, 2014: Crazy Horse screened as part of Art / Road / Movie, a curated evening of film, video and performance at the Bryant Lake Bowl Theater.

June 14th: My work was included in two different art pieces on the night of Northern Spark in Minneapolis, dusk till dawn!
